(USA) Senior Manager, Creative- Associate Creative Director, Copy (Style)

Overview: In this Associate Creative Director/Copy position, you'll be responsible for partnering with an ACD/Art to concept Tier 1 style campaigns that straddle the fashion, beauty, and home strategic business units. You'll report to a Creative Director and be supported by a Senior Art Director to form a full service pod to create 360-degree, full funnel advertising initiatives. This work will serve, honor, and instantly read as on-brand and Walmart-right, while breaking through and communicating to new, fashion-forward customers.

The ideal candidate has both in-house and agency experience and blends writing, concepting, and strategic skills with agility and accuracy.

Key Outcomes & Responsibilities
  1. Best-in-Class Work: Develop strategic ideas in response to creative briefs that enhance KPIs around brand awareness and perception.
  2. Campaign Execution: Contribute to full funnel advertising campaigns across channels such as broadcast, OOH, OLV, paid media, and owned channels.
  3. Creative Development: Ideate strategic concepts, manage script writing, manifestos, seasonal and brand lines, and copy matrices. Present to stakeholders and executives. Collaborate with the pod to create pre-production decks, select talent and crews, oversee on-set production, and direct post-production processes ensuring final asset delivery.
  4. Critical Thinking & Industry Awareness: Use critical thinking to stay on task and stay informed on industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
  5. Brand Consistency: Ensure creative materials align with brand identity and enterprise initiatives, considering various funnel levels.
  6. Team Development & Efficiency: Grow your pod with enthusiasm, foster positive relationships, manage timelines and budgets effectively, and pursue continuous improvement.
  7. Client Satisfaction: Build strong relationships with internal teams to sustain and grow business.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an ACD, senior writer, or similar role in the fashion retail industry.
  • Strong portfolio of varied 360-degree creative projects.
  • Exceptional collaboration and time management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of fashion trends and consumer behavior.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides, Figma, Microsoft Office 365, Slack.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a creative role, with a mix of agency and in-house experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field.

Reporting to: Creative Director, Campaigns (Style)

The annual salary range is $108,000 - $216,000, with additional performance bonuses and possibly stock options.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, Creative Writing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field, plus 3 years' experience in editorial content management or related field, or 5 years' experience in the same.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Digital Content Management, Editorial, Retail Management, Supervising Associates, or working with Creative Agencies.
