The position involves building strong stakeholder relationships, guiding teams in sales qualification and forecasting, and leveraging business insights to influence decision-making. The role demands a proactive approach to innovation, operational excellence, and collaboration to deliver measurable business value while aligning with Walmart’s overarching objectives and market dynamics.

About the team: The Walmart Connect team collaborates with non-endemic advertisers to design and implement strategic retail media solutions that deliver measurable business results. This team works cross-functionally to align priorities, overcome challenges, and provide integrated advertising strategies. Members act as trusted advisors, using data and insights to guide client decisions and internal initiatives. The team emphasizes continuous learning, mentorship, and high performance, fostering strong client relationships and sustained revenue growth. They uphold Walmart’s commitment to integrity, operational excellence, and delivering value to customers and partners.

What you'll do:

• Lead strategic sales planning and forecasting to drive advertising revenue growth and align with Walmart Connect’s business objectives.
• Develop and execute negotiation strategies for complex, high-impact agreements to maximize long-term stakeholder value.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external partners to support business initiatives and enhance customer engagement.
• Utilize data analytics and business insights to inform decision-making and optimize advertising sales strategies.
• Mentor and guide team members on best practices in sales qualification, proposal development, and client onboarding processes.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing innovative processes and promoting adoption of new technologies.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $156,000.00 - $312,000.00

Chicago, Illinois US-10276: The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
