Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Research Associate for a prominent client in Groton, CT. This contract role focuses on designing and executing health outcomes research studies and supporting cross-functional teams to align outcomes with medical and marketing strategies.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in HEOR/RWE/epidemiology, experience with healthcare databases, literature reviews, and manuscript development, and strong scientific communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in HEOR, health outcomes, real-world evidence (RWE), epidemiology, or related pharmaceutical research experience, with hands-on experience executing studies using healthcare databases and literature evidence is required.
• Direct experience in HEOR, outcomes research, RWE, epidemiology, comparative effectiveness, or related research is required, along with experience designing and executing research studies involving database analyses, literature reviews, and/or modeling.
• Experience taking studies from research question or protocol development through analysis and results interpretation is required.
• Experience with healthcare datasets, including claims databases, EHR/EMR, registries, or other real-world data sources, is required.
• Strong scientific communication skills, including developing abstracts, posters, congress presentations, and manuscripts/publications, are preferred.

Job Description

• Pay: $50.00- 55.00/hr to start.
• 6- month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion based on budget and performance.
• Monday- Friday, standard day shift, onsite position.
• Position will mainly be responsible for supporting the design and execution of research studies, including database analysis, literature reviews, modelling, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of outcomes research with medical and marketing strategies.
• Responsibilities also include assisting in the development of abstracts, posters, presentations, publications, and coordinating activities such as advisory panels and best practice sharing with programme stakeholders.
