QC Instrument Support (QCIS)
Description: This position will assist the Quality Control Instrument Support (QCIS) team with the sitewide implementation of Air Particle Counters at the Swiftwater, PA location.
The activities will include but are not limited to:
• Perform qualification activities required for the implementation of Air Particle Counters (APCs)
• Assist in optimization of sitewide Environmental Monitoring program
• Develop an understanding of best practices for optimal equipment operation and compliance to regulatory requirements
• Follow cGMPs and strictly adhere to policies and procedures
• Complete required training as assigned
• Participate in QCIS team meetings
Skills:
• Excellent mathematical skills and computer literacy in all Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and MS Teams
• Excellent organizational, verbal communication, and written communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal error and high attention to detail
• Working knowledge of cGMP's, Regulatory requirements, and data integrity concepts
• Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments and involved stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering is required
• 1-3 years' experience in a cGMP laboratory setting
• Prior experience with instrument commissioning/qualification
• Vaccinations as required (flu vaccination)

Description:

The selected candidate will work in the Manufacturing and Supply – Vaccines division of located in Swiftwater, PA and be a member on the Quality Control Instrument Support (QCIS) team. The team manages the lifecycle processes related to various complex and simple laboratory equipment types and provides support to the QC laboratory to ensure operational success of the department. The Engineer will benefit from mentoring, coaching, and side-by-side engagement with knowledgeable and experienced industry experts. Candidates will receive hands-on learning experience with the opportunity to learn about Instrumentation related to the testing of vaccines. This position will be based out of the Swiftwater, PA facility, on-site attendance is required.
