Walmart Global Tech seeks a Principal Software Engineer to lead scalable platform capabilities and AI-enhanced applications. You will oversee the full software lifecycle, drive architectural excellence, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into solutions.

What you’ll bring:

• Extensive experience in platform engineering leadership, delivering scalable, cloud-native architectures and reusable tooling.
• Proven expertise in software development lifecycle management, including CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and incident response.
• Strong proficiency in AI/ML integration and building intelligent software systems using Python and related technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to apply model-driven design and technical solution architecture for complex distributed systems.
• Effective mentorship skills with a track record of guiding engineering teams and influencing architectural decisions.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and innovation capabilities aligned with business and customer needs.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage cross-functional stakeholders and drive technical excellence.
