Qualifications

The team developed Walmart Luminate, a platform providing actionable, customer‑centric insights that empower CPGs and Walmart merchants to make informed, data‑driven decisions efficiently. Focusing on technical strategy, reliability engineering, scalability, and cloud‑native architecture, the group builds innovative solutions. • Extensive experience in platform engineering leadership, delivering scalable infrastructure and reusable tooling aligned with strategic roadmaps.
• Proven expertise in cloud‑native architecture and distributed system design ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
• Strong proficiency in software development lifecycle management, including CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and incident response.
• Demonstrated ability to architect AI/ML integrated applications using languages such as Python, Java, and C++.
• Skilled in applying model‑driven design and leveraging advanced development tools to enhance velocity and quality.
• Effective technical leadership and mentorship fostering engineering excellence and innovation.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

Minimum Qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
