Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Pharmacology Research Associate for a client in Cambridge, MA. This 12-month assignment offers pay of $28-$33/hour with potential extension based on performance.

Responsibilities include in vivo pharmacology studies, rodent handling, data collection, tissue processing, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support metabolic disease research.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in pharmacology, biology, biomedical sciences, animal science, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience conducting in vivo studies.
  • Experience handling rodents and performing animal research procedures.
  • Strong technical laboratory skills and willingness to learn new techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • Perform rodent handling and support animal-based research activities in a vivarium environment.
  • Assist with study execution, data collection, and experimental procedures.
  • Conduct tissue collection and downstream tissue processing activities.
  • Analyze and organize experimental data using standard scientific software tools.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to support research objectives.
  • Maintain accurate experimental records and documentation.
  • Follow established laboratory, animal care, and safety procedures.
  • Participate in team discussions and contribute to project advancement.

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Pharmacology Research Associate for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Cambridge, MA. Details for the position are as follows.

  • Pay: $28-33/hr.
  • 12-month assignment with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
Responsibilities
  • Execute in vivo pharmacology studies in support of metabolic disease research programs.
  • Perform rodent handling and support animal-based research activities in a vivarium environment.

  • Prior pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or industry experience.
  • Experience working in a vivarium environment.
  • Familiarity with GraphPad Prism or similar scientific data analysis software.
  • Experience supporting large-scale preclinical studies.
  • Recent graduates with a master’s degree in pharmacology and relevant in vivo experience are encouraged to apply.
