A leading retail company is seeking a Store Manager to lead teams, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service. Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including store community and outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, provides recognition, and communicates expectations consistently to ensure a culture of belonging and awareness. Recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and building accountability for achieving results. Identifies and addresses opportunities for improvement and demonstrates adaptability and continuous learning. Ensures compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and supporting the Open Door Policy. Builds high-performing teams, embraces differences, and creates a workplace where associates feel supported and connected. Attracts, retains, empowers, and develops talent, recognizing contributions and accomplishments.

Walmart offers competitive pay, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including health, financial, and paid time off benefits. The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$80,000.00 plus differential, with additional compensation for performance and external factors.
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For facilities that sell only ammunition, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments, such as Academy and Open Door trainings.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through the same programs, and experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
