A leading company in retail is seeking a Supervisor for their Okmulgee location. This role involves leading teams, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing financial performance, and developing associates. Candidates should have experience in retail and supervisory roles, with a focus on team development and operational excellence.
Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and effectively communicate business objectives to teams. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, and supporting community outreach programs. Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved, and develops action plans to address deficiencies, providing process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating profit and loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and monitoring inventory flow and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, and recognizing associates. Ensures staffing needs are met by recruiting and developing qualified personnel.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and building accountability for results. Promotes continuous learning and adaptability.
Ensures compliance with policies and standards of ethics and integrity, supporting the company’s mission and values. Implements related action plans and supports an open-door policy.

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm sales, successful completion of a firearms-specific criminal background check and training is required. Candidates must attend and complete all required training and assessments.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, or a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership. Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
