Position Summary

Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Tours stores and provides feedback, communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate objectives. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, and supporting community outreach programs. Develops and implements action plans to address deficiencies, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

What you'll do

Drive financial performance and sales by reviewing and evaluating PL statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Ensure effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develop and implement plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition. Build relationships with stakeholders, support plans to meet customer and business needs, and foster accountability and continuous learning. Ensure compliance with policies, support company values, and promote a culture of belonging and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearms-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training is required. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership. Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
