Assists management with supervising associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training on processes and procedures, providing guidance on member service, ensuring policy compliance, supporting the Open Door Policy, and participating in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating staff.
Supports membership efforts by providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits; processing memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts; encouraging renewals; participating in sales and marketing events; maintaining documentation; striving to meet membership goals; and promoting the value of Sam's Club products and services.
Provides excellent member service by acknowledging members, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, supporting self-service technology, handling transactions, and filling club pick-up orders.
Oversees assigned areas by managing claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, maintaining carts and flatbeds, assisting with transportation, utilizing equipment, and keeping the parking lot clean.
Completes financial and administrative tasks by following procedures for records, transactions, deposits, and investigations, and maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Develops and implements processes to meet business needs through collaboration, analysis, and improvement initiatives.
Ensures compliance with policies, standards, and ethics by guiding staff, implementing action plans, and addressing issues.
Leads and participates in teams by resource sharing, determining needs, coordinating work, providing feedback, and supporting adaptation to change.

The hourly wage range is $20.00 to $28.00, with actual pay depending on location and additional premiums based on specific circumstances.
6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment and customer service, and being 18 years or older.
Experience leading a front-end team, supervising, hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing workload.
