Position Summary

Provides member service. Maintains the checkout area. Resolves member issues and concerns. Promotes Sam's Club products and services. Provides guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology. Processes member purchases. Assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures for different membership and payment types.

Responsibilities

• Maintain checkout, entrance, and exit areas.
• Resolve member issues and process purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Promote Sam's Club products and services.
• Support members on self-service technology and new programs rollout.
• Follow safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, and report unsafe situations.
• Handle merchandise properly, zone and organize it, locate items, and assist members with transporting items.
• Maintain a safe shopping environment and prevent theft or damage.
• Maintain logs and documentation; execute emergency response procedures.
• Assist in training associate staff on processes, procedures, new technology, and tool functionality.
• Identify shrink, damages, and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners to achieve goals and drive continuous improvement.
• Act with integrity, respect individuals, and serve customers and members.

Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
