Position Summary

What you’ll do: Provide member service, maintain the checkout area, resolve member issues and concerns, promote Sam’s Club products and services, give guidance on self‑service technology, process member purchases, handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and follow company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps.

Responsibilities

• Provide member service and support.
• Maintain checkout, entrance, and exit areas, ensuring they are safe and organized.
• Verify membership cards, acknowledge members and identify their needs.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and transporting items.
• Process member purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
• Handle merchandise properly and report unsafe situations to facility management.
• Zone the area, arrange and organize merchandise, and identify shrink and damages.
• Maintain paperwork, logs, and other documentation and execute emergency response procedures.
• Train Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, teach new technology functionality, and deliver new programs rollout training.
• Provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities.

Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00 at minimum wage or higher, depending on location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
