Responsibilities
- Provides member service and maintains the checkout area.
- Resolves member issues and concerns, promoting Sam’s Club products and services.
- Guides and supports members regarding self‑service technology.
- Processes member purchases, assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges per company policies.
- Follows company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including safety sweeps.
- Handles merchandise properly, reports unsafe situations to facility management.
- Maintains entrance and exit areas, acknowledges members, verifies membership cards, and identifies member needs.
- Assists members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, transporting items, and maintaining a safe shopping environment.
- Reviews member receipts, secures Sam’s Club assets, and observes potential criminal activity per company policies.
- Maintains paperwork, logs, and other required documentation, executes emergency response procedures, and ensures compliance with security and safety practices.
- Trains Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures, teaches new technology and tool functionality, and delivers new program rollout training.
- Provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
- Ensures area of responsibility is maintained per company policies by properly handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity using the Open Door Policy.
- Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources while collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and business partners.
- Builds strong and trusting relationships, communicates with impact, energy, and positivity, and mentors others.
- Adheres to Walmart values, maintains and promotes integrity, ethics and compliance, and works toward a regenerative company.

Qualifications
- Retail experience including operating front end equipment (for example, cash register).
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00.
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
