Job summary

USA Mechanical & Energy Service is seeking a mid-level HVAC Construction Sales Representative to develop and manage relationships with mechanical contractors, general contractors, developers, and building owners. The role focuses on project-based sales, territory growth, and long-term account management while collaborating with estimating, engineering, and operations teams.

The position offers base salary with commission, a vehicle allowance, and comprehensive benefits, with 3–7 years of HVAC

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of HVAC or mechanical construction sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC & plumbing systems and construction workflows.
• Experience with construction drawings and bid processes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and close HVAC and plumbing construction opportunities within an assigned territory.
• Develop contractor and GC relationships while expanding existing accounts.
• Track projects through planning, bidding, and award phases using a CRM.
• Support bid and proposal development with estimating and engineering teams.
• Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work; assist pricing strategy.
• Serve as primary point of contact for customers; build long-term trust.

HVAC Construction Sales Representative

Position Summary

The HVAC Construction Sales Representative is responsible for developing and managing relationships with mechanical contractors, general contractors, developers, and building owners to drive profitable HVAC & plumbing construction projects. This mid-level role focuses on project-based sales, territory growth, and long‑term account management while collaborating with estimating, engineering, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

• Identify, pursue, and close HVAC & plumbing construction opportunities within an assigned territory
• Develop new contractor and GC relationships while expanding existing accounts
• Track projects through planning, bidding, and award phases using a CRM software

Project & Bid Management:

• Support bid and proposal development with estimating and engineering teams
• Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work
• Assist with pricing strategy and negotiations

Relationship Management:

• Serve as primary point of contact for customers
• Build long‑term trust with decision-makers

Cross-Functional Coordination:

• Coordinate with project managers and operations for smooth handoff
• Communicate schedules, scope, and expectations

Sales Administration:

• Maintain CRM records and sales forecasts
• Meet assigned revenue and margin targets

Required Qualifications

• 3–7 years of HVAC or mechanical construction sales experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC & plumbing systems and construction workflows
• Experience with construction drawings and bid processes
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling to mechanical contractors or GCs
• Familiarity with CRM platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Construction Management
