Position Summary
As a Meat Department Lead, you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will model expertise in Meat and collaborate with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets member expectations.
What you'll do
- Team Leadership: Supervise the meat department team to meet business goals, communicate department objectives, and ensure policies are followed.
- Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of products, operations, and standards, sharing knowledge and training the team accordingly.
- Technology Utilization: Use digital tools for planning, sales, and operational decisions, encouraging team adoption of new technologies.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure safety, sanitation, inventory management, and compliance standards are met, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Talent Development: Train and develop team members, promote career growth, and source new talent.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate on process development, monitor progress, and implement improvements.
- Compliance & Ethics: Promote adherence to policies and ethical standards, and address issues proactively.
- Team Collaboration: Lead and participate in teams, providing support and guidance.

Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months experience in a meat production department or supervising a team.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in meat processing, including boneless and bone-in products.
- Supervisory experience.
- Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
