Position Summary: As a Meat Department Lead, you will drive sales and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will model expertise in Meat and collaborate with other team leaders to meet the club's expectations.

What you'll do:

1. Team Leadership: Supervise the meat department team to achieve business goals, communicate department objectives, and ensure policies are followed. Be an advocate for members, associates, and the company, working collaboratively with other leaders.
2. Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of business operations, product updates, and specifications. Ensure standards for quality, safety, and compliance are met. Share knowledge and prioritize training for the team, engaging with members to help them make informed protein choices.
3. Technology Utilization: Use digital tools to plan sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates. Utilize handheld devices for immediate decision-making related to production, training, and product quality.
4. Operational Excellence: Drive business results by maintaining a clean, safe work area, managing inventory and ordering, ensuring equipment functionality, and producing merchandise according to layout plans.
5. Talent Development: Train and develop team members, identify training needs, encourage career growth, and source new talent. Promote a culture of compliance, ethics, and integrity.
6. Customer Service: Deliver results with a customer-first approach, making decisions based on reliable information, and balancing priorities to meet stakeholder needs.
