$22.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Position Summary

What you'll do:

• Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
• Manage freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, identifying, counting, separating, combining, and scanning freight, utilizing warehouse management systems, terminal scales, and scanners, and maintaining records, logs, and forms.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
• Keep work area organized and maintain freight flow by stacking and moving empty pallets using pallet jacks and powered equipment.
• Monitor freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance.
