Walmart is seeking an experienced Manager, Sourcing to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, optimize supplier relationships, and ensure on-time delivery across a complex supply chain.

The role collaborates with Merchandising, Product Development, and Operations to align sourcing strategies with business goals, negotiate pricing, and drive cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain or related area and 3 years’ experience in sourcing OR 5 years’ experience in sourcing
• Bilingual in English and one or more language used to transact business in assigned country
• Project Management certification.

Role summary: The (USA) Manager, Sourcing leads strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize supplier relationships, ensure product quality, and maintain on-time delivery. This role collaborates cross-functionally to align sourcing strategies with business objectives, negotiates pricing and terms, and manages supplier performance. The manager oversees factory assessments, addresses production challenges, and drives continuous improvement through coaching and development of team members. By leveraging market insights and digital tools, this position supports cost-saving opportunities while upholding company standards and fostering strong partnerships to meet customer and business needs effectively.

About the team: The Sourcing team is dedicated to building and managing a robust supplier matrix, driving cost efficiencies, and ensuring product quality. Collaborating closely with Merchandising, Product Development, and Operations, the team develops strategic supplier partnerships to enhance supply chain performance. They focus on delivering innovative products and creating value for customers by aligning sourcing strategies with business priorities. The team leverages expertise in supplier relationship management, negotiation, and quality oversight to support continuous improvement and operational excellence across the supply chain.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : - Stock
