Position Summary

At Walmart, we're seeking a dedicated Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services to join our team. In this year-round role, you'll lead a team of exterior service technicians, working in partnership to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in commercial landscape management and exterior building/grounds maintenance will be instrumental in maintaining our exterior spaces, fostering a safe and clean environment for our valued customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading a team of exterior service technicians.
• Maintaining exterior spaces, including landscaping, grounds, and building exteriors.
• Ensuring safety, cleanliness, and quality standards are met.
• Coordinating with other departments and management.

You can be successful if you have:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial landscaping/exterior building maintenance and leading teams.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to train team members.
• Proficiency with technology for work order management.
• Willingness to perform landscaping and exterior maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of planting, pruning, pest management, and exterior maintenance techniques.
• Strong customer service skills and safety commitment.

Education & Certifications

High school diploma or equivalent; valid state-issued driver’s license.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 2 years’ experience in landscaping or gardening.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in horticulture or related field.
• Certifications in nursery or landscape profession.
• Leadership experience, bilingual in Spanish, or licensing as applicable.
