Position Summary

At Walmart, we're seeking a dedicated Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services to join our team. In this year-round role, you'll lead a team of exterior service technicians, working in partnership to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in commercial landscape management and exterior building/grounds maintenance will be instrumental in maintaining our exterior spaces, fostering a safe and clean environment for our valued customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading a team of exterior service technicians
• Maintaining exterior spaces, including landscaping, grounds, and building exteriors
• Ensuring safety and compliance with company policies
• Managing work orders and record-keeping using technology
• Performing landscaping tasks such as mowing, weed management, and planting
• Applying knowledge of pest/disease management and chemical applications
• Conducting exterior maintenance like irrigation and pressure washing
• Providing excellent customer service and troubleshooting issues

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial landscaping or exterior building maintenance
• Leadership skills with the ability to train and guide team members
• Proficiency with work management technology
• Willingness to perform landscaping and exterior maintenance tasks
• Knowledge of planting, pruning, and pest management
• Strong customer service orientation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid state-issued driver's license

Additional requirements:

• 21 years of age or older
• No recent serious traffic violations or DUI/DWI convictions
• Successful completion of DOT physical and medical certification
• Ability to read and speak English

Preferred qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in horticulture or related field
• Certification in nursery or landscape profession
• Experience as a crew leader or supervisor
• Proficiency in Spanish
• State/local licensing as required
