Base pay range

$31.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Position Summary

This is a salaried position scheduled at 50 hours/week; during training, it is paid at an equivalent hourly rate for 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities include:
  • Leading and developing teams through teaching, training, feedback, and store tours; collaborating on store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction; leading change efforts; setting expectations; and communicating business objectives effectively.
  • Modeling and demonstrating exceptional customer service standards; managing customer service initiatives; resolving customer issues; developing corrective action plans; and leading process improvements to ensure high-quality customer experiences.
  • Driving financial performance by reviewing P&L statements; managing budgets, forecasts, and expenses; monitoring merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes; and developing strategies to mitigate shrink and meet sales and profit goals.
  • Supervising and developing associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing contributions, and fostering diversity and inclusion.
  • Supporting plans and initiatives by developing relationships with stakeholders, setting goals, measuring progress, identifying improvements, and promoting continuous learning.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and supporting Walmart’s mission and values through action plans, open communication, and ethical practices.

The hourly wage range is $31.25-$38.46 plus applicable differentials. Actual pay will meet or exceed minimum wage laws. Additional bonuses may include performance-based incentives and regional pay adjustments.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; or 1 year retail and 1 year supervisory experience; or 2 years general work experience with supervisory duties. For firearm-related roles, background checks and training are required. All associates must complete required training and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Leadership, certifications in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising multiple direct reports with performance management responsibilities.
