Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $26.00/hr

Position Summary

As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicates effectively, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage.
2. Be an Expert: Plans bakery productions, ensures consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs, follows recipes and measurements, works with decorating tools and techniques, and adheres to food safety standards.
3. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement, utilizing handheld technology for immediate business decisions.
4. Be an Owner: Drives bakery performance, ensures quality and date control, prepares for seasonal events, and assists members with purchasing decisions.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate, models high-quality service, interacts with associates to understand and overcome roadblocks, and assists in training and developing team members.
6. Complies with policies: Implements related action plans, follows ethical standards, completes work assignments, collaborates with others, and seeks continuous improvement.

At Sam's Club, we offer competitive pay, performance bonuses, and benefits including health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, education benefits, and more. The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with actual pay based on skills and experience. Additional premiums may apply based on specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications

6 months' experience in a fresh production area, must be 18 years or older, and able to complete required training and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Cake Decorating experience is preferred.
