Position Summary...

As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, and communicates effectively to provide excellent customer service. Maintains flexibility to meet business needs, keeps stock levels optimal, and controls shrinkage.
2. Be an Expert: Plans bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs, follows recipes and measurement instructions, works with decorating tools to create decorative flowers and lettering, and adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain, and inventory management. Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment, demonstrating understanding of product and layout execution.
3. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to enhance sales, improve the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilizes handheld technology for decisions related to production, merchandise, ordering, training, and product quality. Adapts to new tools and encourages their use.
4. Be an Owner: Ensures bakery quality and date control standards, eliminates waste, prepares for seasonal events, and assists members with purchasing decisions. Resolves member issues and concerns effectively.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate, models high-quality service, interacts with associates to understand and overcome roadblocks, and assists in training, developing, and inspiring team members in a respectful and supportive manner.
6. Compliance and Work Priorities: Follows company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Completes assignments by collaborating with managers and team members, prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.
