Position Summary...

As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service, being flexible to the needs of the business, maintaining in-stock levels, and controlling shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Plans bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs following recipes and instructions. Works with various decorating tools to create decorative flowers and lettering, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory management. Operates and sanitizes equipment and understands product and layout execution.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilizes handheld technology for business decisions related to production, merchandise, ordering, training, and quality, while encouraging others to adopt new tools.
• Be an Owner: Ensures quality and date control standards in the bakery, eliminates waste, and prepares for seasonal events. Identifies member needs, assists with purchasing decisions, and resolves member issues.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate, modeling high-quality service and products, interacting with associates to understand and overcome roadblocks, and training, developing, and inspiring team members.
• Compliance & Work Management: Follows company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Completes work assignments by prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and identifying improvement opportunities.
