Position Summary

As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service, being flexible to the needs of the business, maintaining in-stock levels, and controlling shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Plans bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs, following recipes and instructions. Works with various decorating tools to create decorative flowers and lettering, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory management.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilizes handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise, ordering, training, and product quality, encouraging others to adopt these tools.
• Be an Owner: Ensures quality and date control standards in the bakery area, eliminates waste, and prepares for seasonal events. Assists members with purchasing decisions and resolves issues to enhance member satisfaction.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and interacting with associates to understand and overcome roadblocks. Focuses on training, developing, influencing, and inspiring team members in a respectful, supportive manner.

Additional responsibilities include complying with company policies, completing work assignments, fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace, acting with integrity, delivering results, and striving for excellence.
