Walmart is seeking a dedicated and skilled supervisor to drive sales and ensure effective operations in Snellville, GA. The role involves leading teams, monitoring safety procedures, and fostering customer service excellence. Drives sales by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, inventory levels, cleanliness of the area, assessing economic trends and community needs, overseeing the stocking and rotation of merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates across all levels of store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions. Models exceptional customer service standards, manages and supports customer service initiatives, and ensures customer needs and issues are resolved effectively.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management. Ensures staffing needs are met with qualified associates to support company growth. Controls merchandise loss and improves profitability through performance goal communication, adherence to loss prevention policies, inventory reviews, and trend monitoring. Investigates and resolves violations of policies and criminal activities, including fraud and illegal activities, and partners with other investigative entities.
Monitors safety and risk controls, supervises safety team members, and develops solutions to prevent accidents. Oversees safety reviews and implements safety improvement plans. Manages facility-level training and execution of asset protection, safety, claims, and receiving procedures, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Identifies training needs, develops, and delivers training as needed. Manages claims and receiving operations, ensuring proper policies are followed and documentation is maintained.
Builds relationships with stakeholders, supports plans and initiatives, and measures progress against goals. Ensures compliance with company policies, supports ethical standards, and promotes a culture of belonging and continuous learning. Attracts, retains, and develops talent, recognizing contributions and fostering a positive work environment.

Completion of 2 years of college or equivalent experience, such as 1 year as a supervisor in a multi-department environment, or 1 year in areas like accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection. 2 years’ experience in asset protection or related area. Successful completion of state requirements for asset protection, background checks, and applicable training. Ability to attend and complete all required training programs.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership, or related fields such as Criminal Justice. Certifications in asset protection, loss prevention, or related fields. Experience supervising teams of five or more, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing. Investigative experience is a plus.
