What you'll do...
  • Maintain quality and safety standards in assigned area of responsibility by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies standards and procedures Monitors associate compliance with policies standards and procedures Distributes and maintains procedures and supporting documentation
  • Supervises and develops associates and leaders in assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties and coordinating workloads monitoring performance and providing feedback Teaches supports and models Logistics and company policies standards and procedures Identifies training and development needs Participates in the hiring promotion coaching teaching and evaluation of associates and leaders
  • Monitors and manages the productivity of an assigned of responsibility by preparing reviewing andor analyzing business reports
  • Identifies associate customer andor supplier concerns by consulting with others when needed to determine corrective actions or resolution recommendations
  • Implements the business plan for assigned area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling Assigns duties and coordinates workloads to achieve facility goals for example production quality safety
  • Serves as the primary point between the organization and vendors Resolves routine supplier issues Escalates nonroutine issues up the chain of command Researches alternative vendors or suppliers and participates in supplier selection Follows procedures to carry out routine supplier management tasks Works with vendors to ensure that purchases meet delivery dates and quality specifications
  • Suggests ways to reduce variation andor waste in processes Participates in requirements analysis for process changes Illustrates problems opportunities and methods for improving existing business processes Helps evaluate what factors should be addressed in change programs Gathers data for use in the analysis of business processes
  • Creates files of relevant information for specific vendors customers or contracts Implements organizational protocols and procedures for contracts management Reviews contracts to ensure compliance with contract specifications and regulations Administers locally relevant contracts for the department
  • Documents capital appropriations and project authorizations Under guidance produces budget reports of planned versus actual expenses with variances explained Applies established organizational practices in budgeting Uses budgeting and chargeback practices within an assigned area Supplies supporting information and justifications for major line items Examines the role of various expense management guidelines with the organization
  • Demonstrates uptodate expertise and applies this to the development execution and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs and building commitment for perspectives and rationales
  • Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders identifying business needs determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices monitoring progress and results recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities and adapting to competing demands organizational changes and new responsibilities
  • Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans using the Open Door Policy and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices

The annual salary range for this position is $72,050.00 - $108,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
