The position requires a comprehensive understanding of these areas to ensure effective execution of duties and compliance with relevant laws and policies.
The duties encompass data quality assurance, environmental regulation compliance, process analysis and enhancement, stakeholder engagement, safety enforcement, security management, training support, risk assessment, process optimization, communication, transportation law adherence, and team leadership. The role emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and adherence to Walmart's core values and standards.
Candidates must possess either a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields, or have at least 2 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety within relevant industries. Additionally, experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies such as TPM, WCM, or Lean Six Sigma in supply chain or manufacturing environments is required.
Preferred candidates will have certifications such as Associate Safety Professional, Loss Prevention Certifications (LPC), Certified Security Professional (CSP), or similar, along with investigative or asset protection experience in retail or warehouse settings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive is also desired.
