Job summary

Vitol seeks a Physical Operator to coordinate the movement of oil products through US pipeline and terminal networks. You will manage receipts, transfers, and deliveries in line with contracts, while supporting end-to-end scheduling, nominations, and inventory reconciliation for the trading portfolio.

Working with traders, pipeline companies, terminals, and counterparties, you will identify optimization opportunities, control costs, and ensure timely execution within delegated authority and risk

Qualifications

• 3+ years in refined-products pipeline scheduling, physical oil ops, terminal logistics, or refinery supply.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Clear communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate physical movement of oil products through pipelines and terminals.
• Manage nominations, scheduling, and capacity with traders and partners.
• Monitor inventory, receipts, transfers, and deliveries.
• Reconcile terminal statements and movement records for accuracy.
• Escalate issues and coordinate with internal teams during out-of-hours coverage.
