EPCOR USA is seeking a seasoned tax professional to lead its US Taxation function as Associate Director, US Taxation. You will oversee the preparation of US tax returns, tax planning, and a high-performing team, while aligning with corporate finance goals.

This is a senior leadership role offering significant autonomy and business development involvement. Ideal candidates bring a professional accounting designation, 10+ years of tax experience, and strong analytical skills to navigate complex

Qualifications

• CPA/CA or equivalent designation
• 10+ years of US corporate tax experience
• 5+ years managing tax professionals
• 4+ years leading tax-related business development activities
• Experience in regulated utility industry or large corporate setting is a plus
• Experience with IFRS and US GAAP

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the US tax team.
• Ensure timely US income tax returns and filings.
• Oversee US tax provision and accounting for income taxes.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies.
• Ensure compliance with US tax laws and audits.
• Coordinate tax aspects of business development projects.
