Qualifikationen

• Professional accounting designation required.
• Undergraduate degree in Business/Finance.
• Master of Taxation or US tax course completed.
• 10+ years of tax experience including corporate returns.
• 5+ years managing tax professionals.
• 4+ years leading US tax-related business development activities.
• Experience in regulated utilities or large corporate setting is a plus.
• Experience with Canadian corporate tax would be an asset.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• IFRS and US GAAP knowledge.
• OneSource tax software experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead, coach and develop the tax team responsible for EPCOR's US taxation function.
• Ensure accurate, timely preparation of US tax returns and related filings.
• Oversee US tax provision items for financial reporting.
• Lead tax planning initiatives and support business development activities.
• Oversee US tax compliance audits by US authorities.
• Develop and review the Taxation Group's business plan and budget.
