Responsibilities for Loan Operations Analyst include but are not limited to:
- Process daily loan servicing activities across a private credit portfolio, including:
- Agent notices, Interest rate resets and rollovers, Drawdowns and delayed draw requests, Paydowns, PIK (Payment-In-Kind) processing and Interest and fee accrual reviews
- Support trade settlement activities for syndicated and private loan transactions, including documentation review, settlement coordination, and follow-up with counterparties.
- Process cash transactions, prepare and verify wire transfers, and investigate and resolve cash breaks.
- Perform daily reconciliation of loan positions and cash balances between internal systems, agent banks, custodians, and fund administrators, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Process lifecycle events such as amendments, restructurings, and corporate actions while accurately updating loan terms across systems of record.
- Investigate operational exceptions, document findings, elevate issues proactively, and partner with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with offshore support teams on reconciliation, cash operations, and trade operations activities.
- Prepare routine operational reports and perform data quality validation checks to maintain accuracy and integrity of loan and position data.
- Support audit, compliance, and control requirements by maintaining appropriate documentation and operational evidence.
Candidates for Loan Operations Analyst must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- 4 to 8 years of experience in: Loan Operations, Loan Servicing, Middle Office Operations, Private Credit Operations
- within an Asset Manager, Alternative Investment Firm, Insurance Company, Bank, or Fund Administrator.
- Strong understanding of syndicated and private loan lifecycles, including agent notice interpretation, interest rate calculations, and rate-setting mechanics.
- Experience supporting private credit structures, including revolving credit facilities, delayed draw term loans, and related operational activities.
- Hands-on trade settlement experience under LSTA and/or LMA documentation standards.
- Proven reconciliation experience with the ability to independently research, analyze, and resolve position and cash breaks.
- Experience working within established operational control frameworks and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with agent banks, custodians, fund administrators, and internal teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting functions.
- Exposure to IBOR (Investment Book of Record) and ABOR (Accounting Book of Record) environments.
- Experience joining operational teams during project-based assignments and quickly ramping up in new environments.

Pay Details: $80.00 per hour
