The role requires 6+ years in PLC programming across Emerson/AB/PHC, LabVIEW, VeriStand, Python, and .NET, plus leadership experience and U.S. citizenship. You will mentor juniors and drive systems integration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation/Control Systems/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years PLC programming across Emerson/AB/Phoenix Contact hardware.
• 6+ years LabVIEW, VeriStand, Python, and .NET experience.
• Proven ability to architect control software using OO programming, function blocks and add-on instructions.
• U.S. citizenship and experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical control systems.

Our client, a leading aerospace and defense technology organization, is seeking a Sr Advanced Electrical Engineerto join their team.As a Sr. Advanced Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering team supporting advanced controls, automation, and test systems development. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, technical leadership skills, and the ability to work independently in a cross-functional environment, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range: $55.03 - $58.89/hour

• 6+ years of experience with LabVIEW (required), VeriStand, Python, and .NET.
• Proven ability to architect and develop control system software from scratch using object-oriented programming, function blocks, and add-on instructions.
• U.S. Citizenship required and experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical control systems.
