US - Shipper/Receiver (Schedule Sun - Thurs 10:00pm - 6:30am)

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, moving, stacking, counting and staging materials in the appropriate areas in accordance with company specifications and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

1. The ability to operate powered and manual equipment to OSHA/Company safety standards.
2. Must have the ability to function in a fast-paced multi-functional environment where priorities change regularly.
3. Responsible for maintaining facility materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion while ensuring proper stock rotation.
4. Required to work indoors and outdoors throughout all seasons so long as it does not violate safety rules and regulations.
5. Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with all departments while working with minimal supervision.
6. Be able to conduct frequent cycle counts of product with accuracy.
7. Support and supply department with required stock for process and support changeovers to machines and assembly lines.
8. Be able to locate and pick stock for customer orders with accuracy abiding by all safety rules and regulations.
9. Be able to utilize a scan gun to scan out customer orders.
10. Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
11. Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

1. Must have High School Diploma or equivalency.
2. Minimum of one (1) year experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment.
3. Must be able to accurately and safely load and unload trucks for outgoing and incoming shipments.
4. Must be able to understand and perform both receiving in and shipping out of product on a daily basis with accuracy and abiding by safety rules and regulations.
5. Must be able to keep up in a fast-paced atmosphere.
6. Must be able to work alone or in a team environment.
7. Basic computer skills and RF scanner experience are an asset.
