Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an ID1/ID2 Commissioning Lead to oversee the commissioning of all facility systems for high-tech manufacturing facilities in Boise, ID. You will drive readiness, coordinate with transfer teams and contractors, and ensure safe, compliant handover to operations.

The role requires strong electrical/technical expertise, leadership, and experience in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing projects. Boise-based on-site position with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required; equivalent technical experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years’ commissioning experience in semiconductor/high-tech manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead commissioning teams on large-scale capital projects.
• Familiarity with SEMI, ISO, OSHA, EPA standards and regulatory requirements.
• Basic proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Office and cloud-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee detailed commissioning plans for all facility systems.
• Coordinate with transfer teams, third-party agencies and GC teams.
• Lead procedures and standards for commissioning with real-time lessons learned.
• Manage owner-representative commissioning agencies and project contractors.
• Provide weekly updates on progress, risks, and metrics with senior management.
• Ensure commissioning aligns with safety and environmental regulations.
• Validate closeout documentation for turnover to operations.
