Job summary

JKS Restaurants is hiring its first on-the-ground Staff Accountant in New York to support US operations and report to the London-based finance team. The role involves hands-on accounting across month-end close, fixed assets, stock reconciliations, and collaboration with management for accurate reporting.

You will work closely with restaurant teams and the Managing Partner, with direct access to UK partners, and grow as the US platform scales.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting experience, ideally in hospitality, restaurants or multi-site retail.
• Degree in accounting or finance; CPA-track or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Comfortable with Sage Intacct or similar mid-market ERP; confident in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close for US entities, including journals, accruals, prepayments and depreciation.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and reconcile period-end stock.
