Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Senior Director, US Rare Disease Value and Access in Cambridge, MA to own payer-focused access strategy for a multi-product portfolio including a landmark AATD therapy. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years in market access/payer roles in pharma/biotech.
  • 7+ years in leadership of cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in payer access strategy: pricing, contracting, reimbursement, formulary.
  • Proven GTN management and financial modeling experience.
  • Strong financial acumen including P&L impact and pricing strategy.
  • Experience in rare disease or specialty therapeutics preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive influence.

Responsibilities

  • Set direction for pricing, contracting, GTN and reimbursement across rare disease portfolio.
  • Develop evidence-based market access strategies to maximize formulary adoption.
  • Create value propositions for payers, providers, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee GTN across pricing, rebates, and discounts by channel.
  • Monitor GTN performance and advise senior leadership on profitability.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Forecasting, Trade, Legal, and Patient Support Services.
  • Lead GTN pull-through across channels and geographies.
  • Anticipate regulatory/reimbursement changes and ensure compliance.
  • Develop payer research and advisory programs to close knowledge gaps.
  • Champion launch readiness for landmark AATD therapy (1H 2027).
  • Monitor competitive payer behavior with insights teams.
  • Define KPIs and track progress against access and financial targets.
