Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Canadian Occupational Therapist registration/licensure.
• Eligible for U.S. state OT licensure.
• Eligible for a VisaScreen Certificate, if required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply; some positions welcome new grads.

Responsibilities

• As an Occupational Therapist, help patients regain independence and improve daily living.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans.
• Evaluate physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement therapy to improve mobility and independence.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with policies.
