PAPIER-METTLER UK Limited in Moorefield, WV is seeking an Accounting Manager (m/f/d) to handle accounting and bookkeeping for our U.S. plant and sales office, ensuring ledger accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and group standards.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with at least five years in manufacturing, can develop timely B/S and P&L reports, manage cash flow and taxes, and coordinate with auditors and tax advisers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or proven qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least five years of professional experience in a similar role at a manufacturing company.
• Experience developing balance sheets and P&L reports ahead of deadlines and audits.
• Knowledge of legal requirements regarding taxes and compliance.
• Hands-on and self-managed; strong teamwork and open-mindedness.

Responsibilities

• Accounting and bookkeeping for our U.S. plant and sales office.
• Assurance of ledger compliance according to U.S. GAAP and group standards.
• Stock control, CapEx and Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Accounting of general ledger, sales ledger, purchase ledger, and banks.
• With the support of local auditors, annual reporting according to U.S. GAAP and group standards.
• Cash flow & tax management.
• Coordination of communication with governments, tax advisers, and other local partners.
• Office-based job, located in Moorefield, WV.
