Mettler Packaging is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to oversee the U.S. plant and sales office accounting. You will ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and group standards, manage ledgers, and coordinate financial reporting with local auditors.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and at least five years of manufacturing experience. Strong analytical and team-oriented mindset is essential for success in this office-based position in Moorefield, WV.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or proven qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least five years of professional experience in a similar role at a manufacturing company.
• Experience developing balance sheets and P&L reports on time for deadlines and audits.
• Knowledge of tax and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounting and bookkeeping for the U.S. plant and sales office.
• Ensure ledger compliance with U.S. GAAP and group standards.
• Oversee stock control, CapEx and fixed asset accounting.
• Manage general, sales, purchase ledgers and bank postings.
• Coordinate annual reporting with local auditors in line with U.S. GAAP.
• Manage cash flow and tax planning.
