US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming

This position is a remote work opportunity within our Enterprise Security Services Organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consultancy and guidance in managing a comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response program, supporting KPMG operations domestically and internationally.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in workplace safety and emergency response, aligned with the firm's risk tolerance and budget.
- Manage risk management frameworks, collaborate with stakeholders, and develop training and awareness programs.
- Develop and deliver training, perform reviews, facilitate exercises, and support incident response to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of eight years' recent experience in workplace safety and emergency response; experience in leading global safety programs covering various hazards preferred.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments like OSHA, safety management systems, and global situational awareness.
- Analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organization.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to present complex issues and influence stakeholders.
- This role is fully remote within the US, with 5-10% travel; candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
