US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming

Join to apply for the US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming role at KPMG US.

This position is a remote work opportunity within our Enterprise Security Services Organization.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide consultancy and guidance in managing a comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response program, supporting KPMG operations domestically and internationally.
  2. Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in workplace safety and emergency response, aligned with the firm's risk tolerance and budget.
  3. Manage risk management frameworks, collaborate with stakeholders, and develop training and awareness programs.
  4. Develop and deliver training, perform reviews, facilitate exercises, and support incident response to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of eight years' recent experience in workplace safety and emergency response; experience in leading global safety programs covering various hazards preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments like OSHA, safety management systems, and global situational awareness.
  • Analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to present complex issues and influence stakeholders.
  • This role is fully remote within the US, with 5-10% travel; candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
