US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming

Join us as the US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming at KPMG US.

Position Overview

KPMG is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming within our Enterprise Security Services Organization. This is a remote position based in the United States.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert guidance in managing a comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response program supporting KPMG's domestic and international operations.
  2. Ensure adherence to workplace safety and emergency response best practices aligned with firm risk tolerance and budget considerations.
  3. Manage risk frameworks and collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to develop and sustain training and awareness programs.
  4. Develop and deliver training and coaching to relevant stakeholders.
  5. Conduct reviews, facilitate tabletop exercises, support incident planning and response, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
Qualifications
  • At least eight years of recent experience in workplace safety and emergency response, with experience in managing global programs addressing hazards such as natural disasters, pandemics, and active threats.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments like OSHA, and experience in safety management systems deployment and evaluation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and influence.
  • This is a fully remote role within the U.S., with 5-10% travel as needed. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
