KPMG is seeking a US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming to join our Enterprise Security Services Organization. This remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide consultancy and guidance to manage a comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response program supporting KPMG operations domestically and internationally.
  • Ensure workplace safety and incident response best practices align with firm risk tolerance and budget.
  • Manage risk frameworks, collaborate with stakeholders (Legal, HR, Real Estate, Business Leaders), and develop learning and awareness programs.
  • Develop and deliver training and coaching for relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform reviews, facilitate tabletop exercises, support proactive planning, and maintain program compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
Qualifications:
  • At least eight years of recent experience in workplace safety and incident response, including leading global programs addressing hazards like natural disasters, pandemics, and active threats.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments (e.g., OSHA) and safety management systems.
  • Analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to operate in a matrix organization across functions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presenting complex issues, influencing, and negotiating.
  • This is a fully remote position within the U.S. with 5-10% travel; applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
