Responsibilities

1. Provide consultancy and guidance in managing workplace safety and emergency/incident response programs supporting KPMG's domestic and international operations.
2. Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in workplace safety and incident response, aligned with the firm’s risk tolerance and budget.
3. Manage risk frameworks, collaborate with stakeholders (Legal, HR, Real Estate, etc.), and develop training and awareness programs.
4. Develop and deliver training, coaching, and perform reviews and exercises to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of eight years’ recent experience in workplace safety and emergency response; experience leading global programs addressing hazards like natural disasters, pandemics, and active threats is preferred.
2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
3. Strong understanding of regulatory environments (e.g., OSHA), safety management systems, and global situational awareness.
4. Analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to operate in a matrix organization with cross-functional teams.
5. Excellent communication skills, with experience in presenting complex issues, influencing, and developing new safety procedures.
6. This position is remote within the U.S., with 5-10% travel; applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
