Role Description

Our client is seeking a Supply Specialist to support their expanding team by performing duties including, but not limited to:

Responsibilities

• Processing new purchase requisitions
• Issuing and following up on requests for quotes (RFQ)
• Primary liaison between supplier and stakeholders
• Arranging logistical support for assigned vessels
• Reviewing and approving invoices
• Traveling to San Ramon, CA as requested by manager (maximum 3 times per year)
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, and/or purchasing process
• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• Must be available to travel to San Ramon, CA, within a week of starting for in-person training
  
  

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Experience using work order management software, ex. IBM Maximo
• Global awareness and enthusiasm to work with diverse stakeholders
• Candidate should demonstrate:
• Confidence in their ability to work independently
• Efficiency and organization in a time-sensitive environment
• Flexibility to prioritize and foster strong relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
