Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in the United States is seeking a US Lead for Medical Information and Medical Review (MI&MR) to translate strategy into operations, overseeing inquiry management, governance, and content strategy across the US portfolio.

The role partners with HPRC, Regulatory, Legal, and Global Medical teams, drives AI-enabled workflows, and manages MeRIT, QA calibration, and a budget while advancing enterprise risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, plus one of the following: Advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, NP, PA, Master’s, MD, DO, PhD) or other medically qualified licensure.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in a scientific, clinical, or medical environment, including five (5+) years in Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Medical Review, or related pharmaceutical roles.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience leading people, programs, or initiatives in a cross functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate HP Medicine priorities into the US MI&MR operating plan and ensure execution.
• Oversee MI&MR organization performance in developing, reviewing, and approving TA aligned medical resources.
• Provide vision for AI integration into workflows to optimize quality, speed and resource allocation.
