Job summary

AML3D USA, Inc is seeking a US IT & Compliance Specialist in Akron, OH to support cybersecurity, compliance, and day-to-day IT operations for a defense/aerospace-focused organization.

The role requires 3+ years IT administration, strong knowledge of NIST/CMMC 2.0 and DFARS, and experience with Windows Server/AD, firewalls, and endpoint security. US citizenship and background check are required. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of IT administration/network support experience.
• Working knowledge of NIST, CMMC 2.0, and/or DFARS requirements.
• Experience with physical network infrastructure, Windows Server/Active Directory, firewalls, and endpoint security.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and willing to undergo a background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security policies, documentation, access controls, and compliance records.
• Assist with audits, assessments, gap analysis, and remediation activities.
• Install, configure, and maintain networks, servers, workstations, firewalls, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues and provide end-user support.
• Maintain network documentation, asset inventories, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Support security tools, vulnerability management, patching, MFA, and access controls.

The company delivers high-quality, large-scale components for defense, aerospace, and energy, enabling reduced lead times, improved material efficiency.

We are currently looking for a full-time US IT & Compliance Specialist to support cybersecurity, compliance, and day-to-day IT infrastructure.

Pay:

$100,000-$130,000 annually, offer depending on experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of IT administration/network support experience.
• Working knowledge of NIST, CMMC 2.0, and/or DFARS requirements.
• Experience with physical network infrastructure, Windows Server/Active Directory, firewalls, and endpoint security.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CMMC, Security+, Network+, CCNA, or similar certification.
• Experience supporting DoD, defense or other regulated organizations.
• Experience with SIEM/vulnerability management tools such as Tenable, Splunk, or Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 or other government-compliant cloud environments.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/move IT equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in server rooms, crawl spaces, and other areas needed for cabling and hardware installation.
