Job summary

Neko Health AB in the United States seeks a Head of Compliance to own clinical and healthcare regulatory compliance across multi-states. You will ensure proper licensure, corporate practice boundaries, policy adherence, and readiness for inspections, escalating residual risk to the Senior Director, Medical Quality.

This role builds and leads the US compliance function, aligning with Regulatory Affairs and Security, and enabling compliant market entry for new states and services.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in healthcare regulatory compliance across multiple US states.
• Experience preparing organizations for regulatory inspection, accreditation survey or state audit.
• Knowledge of corporate practice of medicine restrictions and professional corporation structures across states.
• Experience writing, reviewing and maintaining clinical policy in a regulated setting.
• Able to give a clear cleared or not cleared decision and document the residual risk.
• Strong written communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in telehealth or multi-state virtual care compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the clinician licensure and credentialing process end to end, including verification and renewal.
• Maintain the register of permitted clinical scope by state and clinician.
• Advise on corporate practice of medicine restrictions and professional corporation structures for new states.
• Assess licensure implications of telehealth delivery across state lines.
• Lead regulatory readiness and external inspection activities with evidence packs and gap closures.
• Define regulatory reporting routes for notifiable events and inquiries.
• Lead a compliance function for the US service and interact with Regulatory Affairs and Security.
• Contribute to clinical policy and documentation compliance within the quality management system.
