Job summary

Xe.com is seeking a Head of Compliance, US with a dual role spanning Xe and Dandelion. Reporting to the VP of Compliance, you will lead the US compliance program, oversee complex examinations, and coordinate with Banks, Regulators, and the AML Oversight Committee.

You will guide product/regulatory requirements from design through launch, manage external reviews, and drive policy across Xe and Dandelion with a strategic, global mindset.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in compliance, financial crime, regulatory advisory or licensing within US payments, MSB, FX or fintech; bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Deep knowledge of BSA/OFAC, FinCEN MSB rules, SAR obligations, state money transmitter law (NYDFS, CDFPI), CFPB and Regulation E.
• Track record leading SAR programs, multi-state examinations, audits, partner bank engagements and Board/AML Oversight Committee reporting.
• Experience assessing partner and correspondent risk and evaluating complex business cases for financial institution and fintech partners; ICA, ACAMS or CFCS certification and AI/ML exposure are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the most senior Xe compliance contact in the US, leading external and multi-state examinations, audits and independent reviews end-to-end, including remediation.
• Manage Xe's banking relationships and act as the escalation point for the Operations team on high-risk cases and SARs, owning the US SAR program with the FIU.
• Ensure Xe's US products comply with all applicable regulations, partnering with Business and Product teams to embed requirements from design through launch.
• Advise Xe's business and product teams on new products, licensing and market expansion, accelerating growth initiatives across the US, with the remit expected to extend globally over time.
• Own complaints handling for Xe, ensuring alignment with CFPB expectations, and report program health, SAR trends and complaints to the AML Oversight Committee and Board.
